IDAN is the latest in Industrial PC computing power and control capability in a rugged modular housing. IDAN is a machined aluminum modular enclosure acting as a heatsink that envelopes your sensitive data acquisition system and delivers performance from -40 to +85°C without a fan. The optional shock mount baseplate allows the system to withstand excessive vibrations and with a small footprint, 145mm x 130mm x 152mm, this unit will fit anywhere.
Ideal for mobile or stationary applications where rugged housing and harsh environemental conditions are essential issues.
HiDAN is latest in Industrial PC computing power and control capability in a sealed modular housing. The HiDAN system is a machined aluminum modular enclosure acting as a heatsink that envelopes your sensitive data acquisition system and delivers performance from -40 to +85C without a fan. An EMF environmental gasket is integrated into a tongue and groove configuration around the perimeter of each section offering 80dB of isolation to 1 GHz and rated at withstanding 30 PSID. Military style circular connectors offer easy connection while maintaining the environ-mental seal integrity built into this enclosure. The small footprint, 178mm x 158mm x 178mm, allows that this unit to fit anywhere.
The HiDANplus is latest in Industrial PC computing power and control capability in a sealed modular housing. The HiDANplussystem is a machined aluminum modular enclosure acting as a heatsink that envelopes your sensitive data acquisition system and delivers performance from –40 to +85°C without a fan. An EMF environmental gasket is integrated into a tongue and groove configuration around the perimeter of each section offering 80dB of isolation to 1 GHz and rated at withstanding 30 PSID. Military style circular connectors offer easy connection while maintaining the environmental seal integrity built into this enclosure. The small footprint, 178mm x 158mm x 185mm, allows this unit to fit anywhere. Maximum computing performance is achieved using a Pentium Class cpuModule running at 300 MHz, up to 256 MB SDRAM and up to two on board Flash Disks with up to 288MB of storage each. An optional internal hard drive module gives you Gigabytes of storage with connectors for an external floppy drive and CD-Rom drive. Extensive data acquisition and control capability is achieved with a variety of analog inputs, analog outputs & digital I/O modules. Communication between two HiDANplus systems or your main network is accomplished using a standard Serial, Ethernet or CAN Bus connection.
ARMEXEL offers a variety of PC/104 and PC/104plus (PCI bus) modules that can be added to most any PC/104EZ system or we will configure a system specific to your needs. All connectors on the IDAN™ are standard connectors used with desktop PCs making connections as simple as plugging in your peripheral device and loading it's software or driver.
These systems were designed not only for their functionality but also with the end user in mind. The modular stack-through design of the PC104 / PC104+ platform allows you to add additional modules or upgrade existing modules as technology or requirements change. The goal set forth was to design a line of "High Reliability" industrial computer systems not available from most computer manufacturers. IDANs will run the major operating systems including DOS, Windows, Windows CE, NT and NT Embedded, QNX, Linux, RTCX, and Phar-Lap. RTD Embedded Technologies, Inc. makes both the boards and the systems giving the end-user a single point of contact for both system configuration and support after the sale.
